Upgrade your Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack with the Expedition Perimeter Rail Kit — designed for racks measuring 1358mm (L) x 1255mm (W). This kit transforms your Slimline II Roof Rack into a classic safari-style basket, providing additional cargo security and a rugged, adventure-ready look.

No drilling is required for installation. The perimeter rails mount directly to your existing rack, offering a clean, low-profile design that enhances load retention without compromising vehicle height. Constructed from black epoxy powder-coated T6 aluminum and high-strength steel, the rails feature the same corrosion-resistant, weatherproof finish as the original Slimline II.

The Expedition Rails add an additional 63mm (2.5″) in height and are engineered for durability and long-term outdoor performance. This kit includes all required mounting hardware and adapter brackets, allowing you to convert the full perimeter rail setup into 3/4, half, or 1/4-sized configurations as needed.

Please note: The new Expedition Rail LH + RH Drop sets (RRAC072) replace the old corner rail sets (RRAC071), resulting in improved modular fitment. Side rail lengths may require trimming to fit your specific rack or custom configuration. A simple hacksaw can be used for adjustment — see the included installation guide for details.
