Plain weave carbon fiber fabric is the go-to choice for flat layups, reinforcement panels, and cabinetry or transom work. Its tight 0/90° weave pattern offers excellent stability and balanced strength in both directions, making it especially effective in marine and woodworking applications. The 5.8 oz. fabric wets out quickly and lays flat without shifting, reducing distortion during lamination. Ideal for reinforcing boat hulls, dashboards, backing plates, and composite cabinetry. Use it alone for lightweight stiffness or layered in complex builds for added strength. Sold by the yard in a 50″ width with 3K filaments.
