Description
Biaxial fiberglass cloth is designed for demanding composite work that requires strength, stability, and stiffness. Unlike standard woven cloth, biaxial fabric features two layers of fiberglass stitched together at ±45° angles to help reinforce areas exposed to multidirectional stress. The 12 oz. cloth offers strength with good conformability, while the 17 oz. version provides extra stiffness for heavy-duty structural applications. Both fabric weights wet out easily and work well with epoxy or polyester resins, making them suitable for boatbuilding, fiberglass repairs, stringers, bulkheads, and custom laminates. Sold by the yard in 50″” wide rolls.
